This is the initial entirely organic version of Oude Kriek produced by 3 Fonteinen. After 11 months of maceration, sour cherries were blended with one- and two-year old lambik. The lambikken used in this blend originate from six different brews and three distinct barrels. The grains were sourced exclusively from their own Cereal Collective, while half of the hops were grown on Belgian fields. On average, the blend contains lambik aged for over twenty months. The resulting fruit intensity equates to 350 grams of sour cherries per litre of Kriek Lambic.
