HVEDEØL

To almindelige varianter af hvedeøl er Weißbier, der er baseret på den tyske tradition for at blande mindst 50% hvede med bygmalt for at lave en lys overgæret øl, og witbier, der er baseret på den belgiske tradition for at bruge smagsstoffer som koriander og appelsinskal.
